Great Wall of China
The Great Wall of China is a very long wall, made of stones, bricks,
tamped earth, wood, and other materials. It was built around China to
protect the country from outside forces. In ancient times, several small
walls were joined together to make a bigger and stronger Wall of China.
It was constructed between 220–206 BC by the first Emperor of China,
Qin Shi Huang.
